Absolutely LOVE this dining room set!!! Received exactly a week from ordering it. It arrived well packaged, no damage, great instructions and included tools needed to put together. Was easily put together and because there were several tools included to to put it together had I had a helper I could have had it together in less than an hour. I was originally a little apprehensive about buying a dining table set online not being able to see how well or bad the construction or material of it was. But I'm so glad I took a chance and purchased it. This set is made so well that I fully expect it to last forever for our family. It is not cheaply made, even the chairs are wonderfully constructed and built to last.However.......Yes there is a BUT. But it is NOT due to the table it's self or the seller. It is due to the shipping of the table that I am seriously disappointed with. At check out I was notified that within 24 hours I would be contacted to set up a delivery appointment. No contact was made at all from the carrier (Ceva Logistics) I received a delivery notification email from Amazon a few days after purchase that gave a delivery date and time. At that point I just assumed that a delivery was prescheduled for me, which was no big deal at all. I just needed to know the date and time seeing as an adult had to be present to sign for it. So day of the delivery no one showed. I contacted the carrier who said that the item hadn't made it to my state yet and that I should wait a few days and then contact the carrier locally. That was fine as well. Things happen. So the next day the local Ceva logistics office contacted me and set up delivery for the next day. PERFECT.Well, when the dining set weighing over 300 pounds arrived the carrier driver informed me that it was all on a pallet and it wasn't his job to remove it where would I like my order? I live upstairs in an apartment and even with the help of Zeus himself would NEVER be able to get a pallet weighing 300 pounds up the stairs by myself. I asked the driver if there was anyway he could please just bring it to my door. As had been my understanding what would happen upon delivery according to Amazon details at checkout process. The guy was mad, brought it up the stairs threw a receipt of delivery at me and stormed off.I'm not even mad at the guy, if it wasn't his job, it wasn't his job. But I do think that Amazon is doing it's customers a great disservice by not making it explicitly clear that when purchasing large items from them their carriers are NOT under obligation to deliver to your door and instead will leave it on a curb. Had I known this i could saved this guy a bad work day and just purchased the table elsewhere.Other than that, I am completely happy with my purchase. I would definitely recommend this company to family and friends looking into purchasing dining furniture. However I would caution them about doing so through Amazon due to delivery.I give the table 5 stars but only gave this review 4 because even though the seller doesn't choose who Amazon uses for delivery they should after enough complaints discuss with Amazon using a different carrier than Ceva Logistics to ship their items even if it's at an additional cost. I would have paid extra to not experience the delivery that I did.
