We have this on our balcony, to sit looking out at the view. Our cats like it because they each have a shelf to sit on. It is very well built.Just as a heads up, I'm the kind of guy that actually likes assembling stuff, whenever friends or family pick up stuff at IKEA they call me...that being said, this this was not put together very well and I wouldn't advise following the directions. For some reasons the reviews, pictures, and questions seem to be referring to different models so the one I'm referring to is the Wicker Patio Furniture 3 Piece Bistro Patio Set ChairsThe problem is that some of the pieces seemed a bit warped and I have to bend things in order to get the holes to line up. So I recommend grabbing a clamp, some pliers and a flashlight when putting this together, and please don't be tempted to use a power screwdriver, even with the correct bit I stripped two of them on the lowest torque and broke one off, hope it remains sturdy! I swear they made these screws out of butter. The easier way to assemble (especially if you have a bent piece like I did). First of all, ignore Step 1, you'll be doing that after Step 3. Check to make sure all of your holes are clear of the wicker, I had some that were blocked and I had to unscrew, fix it and put back together...so check firstThe first step I would do is basically Step 2 without the back (C) being there. Take the Base (D) and attach it to one of the arms (A or B) and then attach it to the other one. (this helps bend the pieces back into place if they are warped and you may need a clamp to bend it to really line up the holes, the flashlight helps you see in the dark spots to make sure the holes are lined up) DO NOT tighten your screws all the way in just yet, you're going to need a little (maybe a lot) of wiggle room. Next, slide the assembly into the back (C) I would line up that back hole shown in step 3, screw it in about halfway. Now you can do what they showed in Step 1 and put in those screws. Once everything is lined up and you have screws in each hole go ahead and start to tighten them up. It may wobble, not much of a shock considering all the bending you had to do, but once you sit in it, it's just fine and has no wobble. When it comes to the table, just be aware that the holes only line up if you set the legs one way. If you try and put them in the other way, you'll think they line up, but it's just a bit off. Also the tabs may be bent (one of mine was), so straighten them up a little.Overall, once it's done it's a nice little set, but with all the hassle of building it and the fact that I have a broken screw lodged into one of the chairs that could fall out at any moment, I can't fully recommend it.Was really looking forward to getting these and was slightly disappointed. They were smaller than what I wanted but they still look nice. I agree with other reviews that they are a pain to put together. Would be very quick and easy if the holes were in the right place. But most of the holes are not aligned properly, some pieces more so than others. Definitely do not tighten anything until most pieces are in place, and in some places I had to use a box cutter to extend some of the holes (but for one of the chairs, one of the first pieces you're supposed to attach just did not match up at all, the screw is barely in if at all and diagonally, there was nothing to be done). Photo doesn't include the table because I needed to wait until the next day to get to it after the frustration of assembling the chairs... (It also took much longer than it should have.) But in the end looks nice, and now my dog and I have a place to sit outside on my patio if I'm stuck at home all summer. The worst part of it is trying to assemble it but the comfortability is just excellent the outlook in the overall is excellent just need to address the putting it together that’s very hot your fingertips be about to fall offBought this for my husband's 50th birthday. Very fast delivery, easy to put together and a quality product. We will enjoy using this on our back porch!I read many reviews that it was hard to put together and the screws does not line up but I didn’t have that problem. The screws will line up only if you leave them loose until it’s all put together, then tighten all screws up. Had an issue with one of the pieces. Contacted the seller and got a response quickly and was sent the replacement. Perfect addition for the deck!!As mentioned by some reviewers, this set is not an easy assemble. Easy to understand, but very time consuming, due to the location of the screw holes. There is a definite mis-match on where the holes should be, and where they are. Time and a flashlight (for finding some of the holes) will be your friends. Also, as previously mentioned by reviewers, there is a one inch difference in the length of one of the front legs. This isn't noticeable when sitting in the chairs, and does improve with wear, however. After one week of almost daily use, the leg discrepancy was no longer noticeable. This was very difficult to put together. I believe the wicker material wrapped around it has gotten into some of the holes where the screw is supposed to go. This made it extremely difficult to get the screw into the hole. I had to pull the wicker out of the some of the holes and unravel it in order to get the screw to go in properly. I was able to ravel it back and glue it back down. It looks good as new. Other than that if you follow the directions you’ll be fine. It looks really good once it’s all put together!
