None of these things are easy to assemble, very time consuming. The patio set is indeed a esthetically nice enough, good construction, but the captains chairs were all honked up once assembled. I want to say it was a manufacturing defect but I can't rule out my lack of customer assembly skills even though I'm fairly certain I did it right.Edit: the captain chairs are basically trash. Once assembled, they lean forward and are completely unusable. They also claim to have a 15 degree rocking motion... I can assure you they do not. The table came with a fairly sizable dent with a thick scratch in it.I would be very leery of this seller, they barely speak English so if that is your native tongue I wish you luck. Not sure what kind of operation they run but it seems that they have no problem shipping damaged or previously returned merchandise as if it was new.Love that this table extends to seat 8 or more. (I think I had 10 around it this weekend!) Easy to assemble. (My 14 year old assembled the entire set by himself with no help.) Our package was missing some screws and when I emailed customer service, they responded within an hour and put the screws in the mail within 24 hours. Very responsive! My only complaint is that the chairs are a bit low for the table, so I might get cushions for them to give a little bit of height.Directions could be more descriptive. Lots of pieces to put together. Hope that it stands up to the weather.The patio set is nice, and it's comfortable but the highlight of my purchase was the seller's customer service when a box from the shipment didn't arrrive. I notified them and, within hours, they had a replacement shipment sent to me which arrived in 2 days. And they stayed in email contact until I assured them that all items were safely in my garage awaiting assembly.Now THAT'S another issue. Don't bother paying for Amazon's assembly service, it was the worst experience I've ever had with Amazon. They cancelled 43 minutes prior to our scheduled appointment, which they had confirmed less than 48 hours earlier. okay, things happen, I get it, but they rescheduled me for two weeks later, which would be about a week late for the party that I purchsed the set for in the first place. I then spent almost two hours of my time on the phone with Amazon, who wouldn't give me the direct number for the assembler, got disconnected twice in four attempts to resolve this issue before giving up. Today this 74 year old man is assembling his patio set by himself, and it's killing my back!
